My mom keeps trying to convince me to call my dad and I want to for her but I'm so tired of people disappointing me. At a certain point you allow people to do things to you and you have to stand up for yourself. I know the whole "life's short" speech but I forgave him and I did the best I could. It's up to him but until he decides to man up, I'm good.

Slowly realizing how people at work talk past me and kind of see through me. I’m not sure if its something that I’m doing, or if its cause I’m the youngest person in the office and only 1 of 3 black people at an agency of 120+.

Not sure how to react to this. Do I fall back? Do I be more aggressive? Do I say fuck it and include myself or just find somewhere else to go?
