Beverly Shaffer "Where Will You Be Boy" (One-Derful 4838-B, 1966)
Classmate of another unsung Chicago favorite, JoAnne Garrett, Beverly cut two lovely discs for the One-derful label in 1966.
"Where Will You Be Boy" struck a cord with Chicagoland listeners seeing young men being shipped of to Vietnam and became a regional hit. Unfortunately the label didn't have the resources to break the song nationally.
