I started watching Doctor Blake and it's all your fault =p
OHMYGOD TELL ME EVERYTHING !! What do you think?! also soo not sorry because i adore that show oh so much!
"was looking through my elizabeth every episode because maybe considering actually finishing this thing and the sparky one too you know four years later" Do it! I'll reblog them all
It is on my to do list. I actually started on the next episode for both these then distracted myself with other things because I realised that more I do the closer I get to Lifeline and I mostly like to pretend that episode (and all of seasons 4 & 5 tbh) doesn’t exist.
1-15 odds!
omg i forgot that mobile doesn’t show proper messages? so this has been sitting in here for 2 weeks, thank you! @bevfank
from this ask
1. your favourite playlist (made by yourself or someone else)
i make monthly playlists of my current favorites, so I guess right now it’s my april one. the big little lies master soundtrack is also a go-to
3. your favourite “grounding” activity (anything that involves using the hands/doesn’t involve “spacing out” or escapism - something like gardening, knitting, dancing, cooking)
yoga
5. 5 tv shows that cheer you up
parks & rec, great british bake-off, schitt’s creek, grey’s anatomy (pre season-8 lol), broad city
7. your favourite board game
Sorry
9. a quote that you would consider getting tattooed or putting in a frame
I took a deep breath and listened to the old brag of my heart. I am, I am, I am. (Sylvia Plath)
11. a tip or hack you’ve learned that makes cleaning or tidying easier
my mom always taught me to clean as you go when cooking or baking, that way you never have a huge pile of dishes to do when it’s all over, you can just relax until the food is done :-)
13. the last so-bad-it’s-good joke you heard
everything is kinda funny in that way now?
15. the last tv episode that made you laugh out loud
second episode of ‘the midnight gospel’ (it’s called officers and wolves). watch that shit on netflix, it’s wack and is one of the things that feels right in all this chaos
15-27 odds
15) Outfit
Oooooh. It’s hard to not pick one of Steve’s suits, probably the Civil War one. Although despite whatever else was going on in Age of Ultron, I really liked Natasha’s suit! The blue that lit up up the sleeves and stuff, it was cool.
If I’m picking non-uniform outfit it’s Peggy’s red dress.
17) Guardian of the Galaxy
Gamora for sure!
19) Weapon
Cap’s shield - although I really like Tony’s early suits too, like up until the first Avengers.
21) Power
Wanda’s telekinesis/energy manipulation/mind powers are GREAT. But anticipating, it’s going to be Captain Marvel’s powers.
23) Origin story
Again, I really love Steve’s in his first movie. We learned a bit about Peggy’s too in Agent Carter and I loved that.
25) Non human creature
Answered!
27) Defender

Yo Insurrection is my favorite. No shame.
Ayyy!! That makes me not feel as bad about liking it! Lol it's really not bad! I know it's not well loved by a lot of people but idk what they don't like.
Hi! I have a podcasting question. A friend and I are going to start one (not for the 100) but a similar format to Meta Station(which I love btw). I guess mostly I'm wondering what kind of notes do you take to prepare and how much do the two of you figure out ahead of time what you're going to cover? Thanks! <3
Always happy to answer podcasting questions! @reblogginhood and I don’t actually do a huge amount of pre-recording prep in terms of discussing what to cover beforehand; we keep it pretty loose. With S3, we would watch the episodes on our own time Thursday night, and then usually exchange a flurry of text messages, and then watch it again a second time on Friday via rabb.it so we could watch it together and live-chat during, to point out things like “don’t let me forget to mention that one thing Monty’s mom did” or whatever. Then once we were online we’d usually run through a pretty loose outline of what order to go in that for most of the podcasts was plot-by-plot; like, “okay, let’s do Polis first, and then Arkadia, and then ALIE.” For the S1 recaps, we’ve both seen them all so many times that we don’t usually watch them twice, we just watch them together and text notes/thoughts to each other and then chat briefly before we start to record. The only times we’ve had to really plan out a lot in detail were when we were briefly attempting to cram 2 episodes into one podcast, which we abandoned because it just wasn’t a format that worked for us (we’re too verbose); but we trying to figure out if it was better to do one episode and then the second, or talk about them both as an overarching 2-part story, was tricky.
Anyway, I think a lot of people have different techniques for this, so it’s really all about figuring out the system that works for you guys, but for me and Erin, we’re basically just hitting “record” on exactly the same kind of 4-hour conversations we were having about this show after every episode before we even started having a podcast, so our format is basically just like “what do we think is interesting here” and we often don’t get to every single plot point or character. We’re really just freestyling off a very loose script most of the time. But don’t be afraid to try a bunch of things before you settle on a system that works for you; I think I took really detailed notes for the first couple podcasts before I realized I could do just fine with a couple bullet points, but for the other podcast I cohosted (The Giantist’s Person of Interest podcast with @brittanias and @abigailkanes) I took really detailed notes as I watched because I knew I wouldn’t get a chance to watch it twice before we recorded and it’s full of tiny little details I didn’t want to miss. So it’s just a matter of finding what works for you.
Good luck! I hope you guys have a ton of fun!
bevfank replied to your post:I keep finding new people who have blocked me and...
Weird! How do you find them?
I was trying to reblog someone's post and tumblr wouldn't let me. I've a little more info about them now tho and honestly I'd rather not reblog from them at this point anyway. The Once Upon a Time fandom is so ridiculous lol.
