I head out toward route 101 as I notice a small kid franticaly indicating that something is going on over there I hurry onto the route hearing screaming as I approach and notice the professor being chased by a small pokemon.

I made mad dash for route 103. I was running a bit late by my father's schedule. I jogged thru Oldale town and straight ahead to the little dead end part of the route. I took a breather and sat down, unpacking my supplies. Once completely calm, I observed rattata, caterpie, and pidgey mixed in with native species such as wurmple and poochyena. A little strange.

*heads upstairs...* Hey! I just moved in next door, i'm Lime, its great to meet you! How is life in Littleroot?

lets see, potions, repels, water… 

oh? *turns and looks at lime*

…… *stands there processing for a moment*    OH!

Your the Gym leader’s kid that moved in next door? hmm… I thought you’d be…. 20% cooler.  uuuuuh…

I’m Paint! I’m about to head out on to route 103 and study the influx of new Pokemon in that area. Oh shit I’m already late! *dramatically points to clock* D : 

*grabs all the things and runs away*

Moving

*Sounds of boxes shifting loudly in the back of the truck wake you* [It sounds like the truck is coming to a stop, we must finally be here Littleroot, going to be a bit of a change for me... But i'm excited] *the truck comes to a screeching halt almost knocking me into some boxes.. moments later the back opens and I get out and look around at my new life* *I hear my mom greeting me and hastily reply, wanting to go inside and see the new house then hurry in...*

I head to my room to gather my things. On the way there, Mom mentions new neighbors; A gym leader's family; Toast? Gym leader's kid? from Petalburg.  I shove toast in my mouth, give a quick nod, and head upstairs to pack.

My name is Birch, but everyone calls me the Pokemon professor. We humans live alongside Pokemon, at times as friendly playmates and at times as cooperative workmates. And sometimes, we band together and battle others like us. But despite our closeness, we don't know everything about Pokemon. In fact, there are may, many secrets surrounding Pokemon. To unravel Pokemon mysteries, I've been undertaking research on their habitats and distribution. What do you think of that for an intro, Paint?
