Talk to Jassi about Video Games!
Both. The PS4 has a lot of great selections for RPG’s which I’ve very much enjoyed playing but it also shares a lot of those same titles with the Vita - a system which, in my opinion, is severely neglected and underrated. PSP is a little more well known but it’s also kind of underrated and got some great RPG’s.
The original DS has a pretty fantastic selection of RPG’s which only get better on the 3DS. Switch doesn’t really have many of those so far but it does have some more casual, fun titles like Splatoon or Mario Kart. Depends on what you’re in the mood for. Sometimes I don’t really feel like going to the trouble of booting up my TV, PS4/Switch. I often like to play video games before dozing off which handheld systems are a perfect option for because they’re portable and if you have an outlet right by your chair/bed, you can just stick them on a nearby table and let them charge while also playing them - that’s what I do. I keep mine charged pretty much all the time - just more convenient that way.
30 - A game that hasn’t been localized in your country that you think should be localized?
Digimon Adventure for the PSP. I know Digimon kind of went through a phase of being Japan exclusive but if there was one game that should have come overseas it should have been Digimon Adventure. I mean come on, how many kids have grown up watching that in the 90′s?? The corny theme song that played?? The even more corny movie with the terrible Angela Anaconda skit?? The toys and playing cards you would collect and trade as kids? I’m still not over that. …Also would have been kind of cool to see Re:Digitize get a release. From what I’ve heard, it’s a return to the v-pet style, something which we did end up getting in Next Order but I just wish we could have gotten this one too. I heard it was re-released on the 3DS a while back and I’m just so envious. Ah well, perhaps one day? Also, I do wish we’d gotten the later Tag Force games even though I heard the most recent one - Tag Force Special, I think, is kind of crappy in comparison.
