ooc;    hm...okay, i’m going to go ahead and send a compliment     at @bewiintered! (aka bewiinged, normally, haha)

    first off; wow. lemme tell you how much i liked Maximum Ride     when I was younger?? like; ugh. i had a huge crush on Iggy     and at one point i had claimed Nudge as me child (it was an     interesting time in high school...my friends went with it; haha)    As for your portrayal; from what I’ve seen, you’re really great!!     like, you make me love Nudge even more?? (which isn’t difficult,     seeing as i have a lot of love for that girl) and i really enjoy the     fact that you’ve got a lot of opinions and headcanons about her     (as well as the rest of the characters that JP was kind of a dick to)    I mean; there are times I almost forget the fact that she was 11    when the series started, you know?

    BUT OKAY.  Fantastic Nudge with a mun who seems like     they’d be a lot of fun to talk to ooc (i’m remembering that one     game of cah you joined us for; haha)    If you ever want to roleplay with me at all, feel free to come and     speak at me!! I’ve got plenty o’verses you can choose from; haha.

7. List three honest flaws your favorite character has and talk about how those flaws make them problematic!!❤❤

1. Blunt/Callous: Fang, when he does speak, does not mince words. He tells it how it his, and doesn’t sugarcoat anything. He also does not listen to his- or other people’s- emotions when making decisions or arguing. While this is his defense against the world, not letting weakness be shown, it often results in hurting others. Too often Fang has been too careless with his words, cutting someone down or hurting their feelings without thinking about it. His words can be brutal sometimes, but that’s just how he is, and it makes it hard for him to be comforting or friendly. That’s one reason why I don’t think he could lead a flock alone- he wouldn’t be able to connect with anyone or hold them together.

2. Proud/Stubborn: Besides Max, Fang is literally the most stubborn person in the entire universe. If he thinks he’s right, he will not budge, willing to argue for hours. If he has a plan, everyone had better stick to it or he will beat someone up. Along the same vein, if he isn’t right, or if something goes wrong, he will almost never admit to being wrong. This sometimes makes him insufferable, and he’s very prone to arguing with (or giving the cold shoulder to) anyone and everyone. 

3: Aggressive: Yes, in a fight or life-or-death situation, Fang’s aggression makes it easier to win. However, in the rest of his day-to-day situations, it makes him a pain in the ass. He will argue over anything, and is willing to pick a fight at the slightest inconvenience. This also makes it hard for him to think clearly in a fight sometimes, and will often dive headfirst in (remarkably Max-like), making errors as he’s blinded by rage. In verbal fights, this means he often goes straight for the throat, often saying things he doesn’t mean.

'wake up'

                    Suddenly there were whitecoats everywhere, surrounding him and holding him                         down. One was brandishing a needle, another was strapping his wings down to                       a table. The silence seemed like a vacuum, any sound Fang was able to make                         falling away into nothing. He thrashed and struggled, though he knew it was in                        vain: a child, even a genetically enhanced mutant, was no match for five grown                          men. The needle burned as it entered the back of his neck, and he froze only in                        fear of jostling the sharp point so near his brain. It was finally removed, only a few                     tears trickling down Fang’s face, but the whitecoats weren’t letting him go, they                          were still holding him, he couldn’t move he couldn’t fight they were still on him-

With a speed that resembled molasses, Fang came to his senses, heart racing and lungs hyperventilating. Nudge’s face hovered above him, eyes large and FEARFUL, a bruise already blooming on her cheekbone ( and wasn’t he just the biggest piece of shit ). She was sitting on his chest, her legs pinning his and her hands holding his wrists to the floor. “Fang?” she murmured, voice TREMBLING the slightest bit. 

Swallowing thickly, registering the shaking in his own limbs and trying to regain control of his ERRATIC breathing, Fang let his head fall against the floor. This wasn’t the first time he or another flock member had had attacks like this ( god knew it wouldn’t be the last ), but it still... ANGERED him to have this happen. Nudge must have heard him knock something over, or walked by and seen him frozen on the floor, and tried to help. Now she was scared and hurt, because of him. Fang shook his head, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. It would take him a bit to gather his sense, and he probably wouldn’t sleep tonight ( or the next night ), but Nudge didn’t need to know that.

          “ I’m fine. ”

iggy smiled, leaning his head against nudge’s as she talked. listening to nudge ramble on and on was one of his favorite past times ever. it was the most relaxing thing ever, honestly. his hand curled around hers in a friendly, fam- ilial gesture, laughing quietly every now and th- en. he let her mouth run it’s course, waiting un- til he was sure she was done before speaking up.

‘ i didn’t mean the gross kind of drugs, ’ he said. ‘ if i was gonna do anything, i’d do, like, pot. i al- most tried it when we were at anne’s. didn’t get a chance to, though. and if you want a pack of gum, i’ll get one for you anyway. ’

{okay but really how fucked up is it that the prepubescent poc teenage girl gets a love interest-- one who is, presumably, actively interested in making out with her if not going further-- and the attractive teenage boy does not. i didn’t think about it until now but that’s really fucked up.}
