—There are other types of supernatural creatures in The New Ashton Chronicles beyond those in the bestiary. I haven't written out anything definite yet, but I'm toying with including some sort of fae or fae-adjacent species. No details on that. Mermaids/sirens exist definitely. Myriad demon species. Other types of vampires. Many, many other things I'm sure.

It's fun to think about, even if I never expand on it.

—I'm still working out how magic works exactly, but I know it's an exchange of energy, which is why witches and magic users tend to get tired after big magical feats. No one can keep up magic indefinitely, not even the strongest witch or whoever. Magic can be pulled from others, from objects, from environments, channeled from other sources. Using a lot of power like that burns a lot of calories, so food or sustenance is a big part of it.

—Something that's more RP-related worldbuilding than series-related is that all pets never really age and they certainly never die. For instance, Andy's cat Vivi, is still a kitten despite me having age progressed Andy and other characters naturally over the years. This is my fantasy world where I like to escape. Pet deaths are not allowed here.
