Old English bs
Why do we have old English stories? Like why? I get it’s educational but I would be much more inclined to read more stories if instead of an 8 paragraph passage about a cold lake where a monster lives it was just “hey Beowulf there’s this monster in the lake and it ate my boy toy and took her sons hand that I had hanging from the ceiling can you go like murder a bitch or something?” Like I would love that. Ughhhh
