If we are made out of atoms, minuscule entities that together create blocks of all matter, are we not ourselves just more atoms of a much much bigger picture? Do we in ourselves matter? And if so, how do we contribute to the larger piece of matter encompassing us all? Who are we interacting with? Who do we love? With whom do we anger? And how do we go about it. Are our inner battles as tangible as those lived in interaction with the outside world?
"Drifting Particles Of One" is a collection of words and sounds portraying reflections on life. Love, friendship, fear, joy and loathing. Tales of interactions between self, others and the whole. Beautiful particles drifting endlessly through space and time.
It is my honor to invite you to the launch of my new album; a work I'm extremely excited to share with you all. The event will feature the wonderful drifting bodies of BAMBULA project, "Backwards Cycles" an anonymous project of music and storytelling, accompanied by projected artwork of Jess Swann and some pretty out there video works created by me and my friends. As well as a set of interpretations of the music from the album by my new band featuring myself (Drums & Vocals) and the incredible talents of Colin Somervell (Double Bass), Bex Burch (Gyil) & Dimitris Foken (Guitar, Violin & Vocals).
Celebrations will be held from 8pm on the 10th of October 2015, Upstairs At The Ritzy Cinema in Brixton, London. Looking forwards to seeing you there!
