Бейка выполняется жемчужным узором: попеременно 1 лицевая и 1 изнаночная, узор смещать в каждом 2-м ряду на 1 петлю. Количество петель переда должно быть чётным. Отметить средние 8 петель. Перед отмеченными петлями работу разделить и закончить сначала левую сторону. Для скоса выреза 2 петли левой стороны перед отмеченными петлями провязать вместе с наклоном влево, а затем на спицу набрать для бейки новые 8 петель. На первых 7 петлях бейки вязать жемчужным узором, последняя петля - кромочная петля. Убавку для скоса повторять в каждом 4-м ряду. Правую сторону закончить симметрично. 1 -я отмеченная петля является кромочной, на следующих 7 петлях вязать жемчужным узором = бейка. Для скоса выреза следующие за ней 2 петли провязывать вместе лицевыми. Внутренний конец бейки пришить краеобметочным швом.

Цельновязаную бейку переда можно продолжить и связать бейку для спинки. Закрепив петли плечевых участков, к петлям бейки с внутренней стороны набрать по 1 новой кромочной и вязать на 9 петлях до длины бейки, равной половинной длине края горловины спинки, затем петли закрыть. Выполнить плечевые швы. Концы бейки сшить, бейку вшить в горловину спинки.
