More than 16,000 people have had the chance to use tablets at their local libraries in the last three months — and 9,000 people received training in a new skill. Survey results show that 41% of visitors are using their library's new technology to access news or learning opportunities. Another 36% have worked to improve their technology skills. And 3,300 people had the opportunity to access internet for the first time.
