Happy Sunday everyone. This week has been full of new releases and good news regarding some classic album reissues that many of us have been waiting for.
First, my pick for album of the year; Airiel’s long anticipated “Young Molten Lovers” is finally available to everyone, so I highly recommend getting ahold of a copy of that. I wrote a pretty lengthly review of what I thought of the full release for Fadeawayradiate, so here’s more on that, if you are interested: http://fadeawayradiate.com/2017/10/airiel-molten-young-lovers/
Dead Leaf Echo has have released there second full length album, Beyond Desire this week, which is sure to be stellar.
Both of these bands are also scheduled to play the Midwestern Shoegaze Festival, Kalama-Shoegazer which is moving to Bell’s Eccentric Cafe this year. Very much looking forward to that event coming up in November. Tickets are now available.
Whimiscal will also be playing at this event, and have released a gorgeous cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams”.

Finally, we got news that My Bloody Valentine have a pending new release that is yet TBA, but analog reissues of Loveless and Isn’t Anything are available for pre-order.
So that’s what I have for this week. I haven’t been the best about updating the site weekly, and have been thinking about changing the format a little, so this was a departure from how I usually do things.
I’m sure that I will still have song/video posts from time to time, but I want to do things a little differently from here on out. So, if anyone has thoughts or feedback; I would love to hear from you.
Gaze on, my friends. Have a great week.
