"well, its cruel to keep them inside" and "they haven't been hit in years" and "if they get squished don't worry about it"

the ones she let out are 'her' cats, the ones she left here last year when she moved out, the ones we've been taking care of and feeding, that she hasn't bought food or anything for them in months. They are OUR cats now and I'm not having them get killed because she's so fucking stupid to let them out by the busiest goddamn road in town.

I am already done with her.

i hate that they think that nancy being in a relationship means she’s not independent like are we talking about the same nancy?

this post I reblogged a short bit ago has some really good thoughts on this!! (tldr: Nancy is actually so self-reliant post-Barb that she's become deeply untrustworthy and struggles to let people in, while Jonathan is the one who struggles with independence, esp. when it comes to viewing himself and his life independently from his family)

I mean, I do think Nancy can ultimately grow and benefit from the breakup in ways that are applicable to her actual issue, but the way they framed it as her being aimless and needing independence just rang so hollow. Why did they give her Jonathan's problems? Jonathan is sitting right there! Address that stuff with him and then maybe address Nancy's actual problems! But then they just...didn't. For either one of them. Alright then.

writing a short essay on why / how people make fakemon and the thoughts i have abt it. i feel like it's not actually that difficult to make a good fakemon if you have the right design principles but a lot of people simply do not have the right design principles and it's mildly aggravating. i’d love to be doing constant conventions like some artists and itd be great for me to get out there and get seen, but a) i cant afford the hotels and travel costs b) i have no one to help me at tables and ive already suffered months of pain from doing that at a one-day con (turns out if you dont move a trick knee for 10 hours it gets fucked) and c) cons arent fucking accepting me
