i hate that they think that nancy being in a relationship means she’s not independent like are we talking about the same nancy?

this post I reblogged a short bit ago has some really good thoughts on this!! (tldr: Nancy is actually so self-reliant post-Barb that she's become deeply untrustworthy and struggles to let people in, while Jonathan is the one who struggles with independence, esp. when it comes to viewing himself and his life independently from his family)

I mean, I do think Nancy can ultimately grow and benefit from the breakup in ways that are applicable to her actual issue, but the way they framed it as her being aimless and needing independence just rang so hollow. Why did they give her Jonathan's problems? Jonathan is sitting right there! Address that stuff with him and then maybe address Nancy's actual problems! But then they just...didn't. For either one of them. Alright then.

the ones she let out are 'her' cats, the ones she left here last year when she moved out, the ones we've been taking care of and feeding, that she hasn't bought food or anything for them in months. They are OUR cats now and I'm not having them get killed because she's so fucking stupid to let them out by the busiest goddamn road in town.

if you choose to start slur discourse with someone who simply asked you not to call them something or otherwise expressed discomfort with a word you owe me $100 and a handwritten note explaining your understanding of nuance and conflicting needs in a community setting

quit making this month a living nightmare for everyone besides the elite few of this weird lgbt+ hierarchy y’all have constructed of who is Pure and Good and who is on thin fucking ice. i’m not interested in pretending to be something i’m not in order to feel accepted and supported so either y’all are gonna cut the bullshit or start paying up <3

writing a short essay on why / how people make fakemon and the thoughts i have abt it. i feel like it's not actually that difficult to make a good fakemon if you have the right design principles but a lot of people simply do not have the right design principles and it's mildly aggravating.
