Beyond Terror will be released on Blu-ray on January 12 via Cauldron Films, where it's available to pre-order for $27.99. The 1980 Spanish horror film is also known as Further Than Fear.

Limited to 1,800, it includes a slipcase, reversible artwork, a booklet with writing by Scott Carlson, and double-sided mini lobby card reproductions.

Tomás Aznar directs from a script he wrote the script with Miguel Lizondo and Juan Piquer Simón (Slugs). Francisco Sánchez Grajera, Raquel Ramírez, Emilio Siegrist, Alexia Loret, and Antonio Jabalera star.

Beyond Terror has been restored in 4K from the original negative, presented with its original Spanish audio and English subtitles. Special features are listed below.

After a drug-fueled night of violence, a group of young degenerates and their hostages find themselves stranded in a remote, abandoned church in rural Spain. Their evening of debauchery and blasphemy quickly turns to greed when they discover a local legend that tells of a vast fortune guarded by mummies in the catacombs beneath the ruins. Their lust for the treasure is short-lived as they find that the supernatural horror in the catacombs is something further than fear… it is Beyond Terror!

Box Office Buz: DVD and Blu-ray releases for July 6, 2021

As the release schedule continues to be thin and mostly deep catalog, we have nothing to review this week! But a few really good ones coming next week for you.A few titles of interest to check out this week though include the AppleTV+ TV Mini Series Defending Jacob starring Chris Evans and Michelle Dockery, the release I am sure all of you have been waiting for, Howard the Duck in 4K! and one that would actually be pretty darn cool on 4K, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World starring Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
