Duly noted. Not related to the whole Frigga theory, but I seem to remember something about there being a major character death in TDW. Do you think it’s related to the kneeling shot? And even if not, any theories about who and how?
I believe legitimate sources do confirm that there will be a major character death. I can't be certain if the whole kneeling thing has anything to do with it, as that would be like guessing who is going to die in an unread Harry Potter book by reading the first sentence of a random page you open. As for who actually dies, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that they are probably Asgardian (frankly, no one on Earth in the Thor franchise is a 'major character' besides Jane, and I definitely can't see them killing off Jane).
It's possible that MCU might be stepping away from comic canon with this one, as I don't think anyone besides Loki actually dies in the comic from Asgard (besides Baldur, but as far as the movies are concerned, he doesn't exist) and I don't think they'd kill of Loki so soon. I mean, while I don't read the comics, I don't think Coulson ever died in them either, and look what Whedon did. I do think that it's going to be a member of the royal family. Or they could pull an LC and kill off Sif lololol

Ohhhh I get what you mean now. Where did you find that? You make it sound as if there is an outside source confirming your suspicions.
An extremely questionable outside source that I can't prove legitimate, so I say it with the entire shaker of salt. I can't find the source anymore, but I'll just recommend that you keep away from any internet claims and wait for November.

I’ve heard people hypothesize Sif, but your the first to bring up Frigga. Both are interesting ideas. The armor in the shot is not the type of armor they usually wear, so there would need to be an explanation for that. It’s not impossible, though.
Oh no, I mean Frigga being the reason why said person is kneeling, not necessarily kneeling herself. But that's all up in the air since it's hard to actually trust the internet these days (some things we find on Thor 2 have been on the spot, others completely off the mark. I doubt it's Sif either).
