As a cosmic pilot battling a galactic war in an uncharted region of space, your ship takes damage and crashes down to the brutal planet below. Explore the unaligned planet’s strange terrain collecting natural resources and scattered parts that fell off your spaceship, hoping to repair it. But beware, and be aware, of the gruesome Geelabub at nightfall; it seeks to destroy you! Make alliances with the indigenous creatures, tame wild beasts, and position yourself best for victory before installing your repairs and re-embarking to the stars. Beyond the Crash is a game of exploration, resource management, diplomacy, and destruction. Players must survive the ruthless planet’s wild monsters, harsh environment, and each other in the pursuit of planetary allegiance. Compete to earn the most points, securing the greatest allegiance with the planet. Players can choose how they want to play, making progress through a variety of means. Points are earned once players repair each damaged part, eliminate a Geelabub, earn unique achievements, and make alliances with the intelligent creatures known as Gonqwai. Ensure that you’re in an advantageous position before taking off in your mended ship, ending the game. In each round, multiple phases take place. Players take action during the Day Phase, while the Geelabub is active from Dusk till Dawn. The Geelabub moves toward the closest player, or flare, and is reborn after being eliminated. Players can earn achievements after many different actions have been completed; they provide a fun alternate path to victory. The game is not just about repairing your ship, but ultimately about leaving the planet having accomplished the most.
