Other Wonder
Always a looking glass, a strange mirror of every location Alice could visit, has visited. Even her own mirror. Settled in it’s own corner of Wonderland and away from many others... However, when Alice had come across what looked so much like her own mirror, yet it was smudged and over grown in the Vale Of Tears, she was incredibly confused. What was this? A trap of sorts...? The Duchess had been the one to uncover it, and said she would keep it safe.... So long as those pig snouts kept coming.
Curiouser and Curiouser. Where did this lead? Would it work outside Looking Glass Land? Ah but always that curiosity Alice always had, even in her madness.... There was but one way to find out.
So Alice Liddell took the leap. Jumping within the mirror’s reflection, and falling through this proverbial rabbits hole. It was all so strangely familiar. Falling all the way down while storm clouds gathered around this cyclone. Not a moment of surprise or panic. It was the landing that would cause her to be as such.
It was more rough than anticipated, and was certainly not in any Vale. Nor anywhere that Alice could recognize. Cold walls...? Was this a building? It certainly looked that way. Several minutes passed of the woman wandering in her confusion, before she managed to find a way onto the outside. Finding a series of ledges and fall ways. Overgrown with moss and- seemingly empty. Leaving Alice to her own devices, walking along these narrow ledges, and jumping over the gaps.
“This is most certainly not my Wonderland.”
