Mar-Mikhael was my favorite neighborhood in Beirut. 💕🇱🇧 This area was where we stayed during the first part of the trip, and it happens to be home to some of the best restaurants, cafes, and nightlife in the city. 🤤🥳 Everyday we walked along Armenia Street, often making it to Gemmayzeh. If you're ever in Beirut, this is an area you definitely want to explore. There is so much good food here and many cute places to grab coffee or a cocktail. ( 📷 @beyt.lb ) There is a lot of damage throughout the city from the August 2020 explosion - especially in this area because of its proximity to the harbor - but there is still so much beauty and liveliness. You'll notice many murals, street art, and memorial statues.
