I like to think that he's pretty confused but has the spirit. He has a general idea of art and literature, claiming his favourite painting is Mona Lisa since it's the only painting he can actually rememeber the name of (one day, he surprises you by mentioning The Birth of Venus - he totally hasn't looked that up earlier that day).

Whatever you do, he supports you, mainly passively, though - in a sense that your dorm gets turned into an antique shop when you don't have time for cleaning it while working and Patrick doesn't even think about tyding up for you - but spiritually, he's with you!

Let's be realistic, you could draw a simple smiley face and he'd worship the piece of paper like it belongs to the Louvre. It's always my girlfriends paints this, my girlfriend writes that...
