Bugtober Prompt 1: Snakemouth Den

This was so much fun to do! finally actually showing some of my hc designs for BF as well :3

i'm doing art studies for each day of bugtober and this one was for perspective

I don't do a lot of full pieces- especially not in this perspective

Normally I would have it more refined and not as messy but the main thing was getting the perspective and i got 30 more prompts to go

Day 12: Flood (of Bugs!)

I took that shit metaphorically

I had no ideas for any literal version

Flood of people was the idea I had so I had an excuse to draw Mothiva and Zasp cause I love them :3

Day 10- wait day 10?? Where's 8 and 9??

I'll get to them eventually aka they're going to be combined into one drawing. I already know what I'm going to do for them but I've been having to do a bunch lately plus napping too much so I really haven't been drawing and I've done a bit of writing but it isn't much 😔🤚

Regardless here's the Day 10: Favorite Characters for bugtober

Loose doodle cause as I said I haven't quite been motivated to do as much drawing lately between appointments, making sure my newest rescue beardie is doing good, and just managing myself 😔

Regardless, I said this on the bf server as well, don't pressure yourself to make a perfect piece every time you draw. I certainly don't and I've been drawing for almost a decade now

Or maybe even a decade atp

I'm happy with my art, whether it's up to my personal standard or not.

I'm not great at backgrounds either despite having a decade under my belt (namely because my full time studying has been character design but STILL)

I'm getting better though!

I believe, no matter where you are with your art, you should always keep to it.

I felt wholesome today lmao

But I do mean what I said. Please never give up on art :> 💜🏵️ (istg if this is some kind of problematic emoji combo I will fight someone (⁠⌐⁠■⁠-⁠■⁠))

Day 15: Flashback

Mmph I live

Idk how much more of Bugtober as a whole I'm gonna do

I've never been great with month challenges

Plus I'm gonna be busy off and on this month most likely

I may focus on the Eden comics I was doing for days 4 and 24

I do think that overall it may be written stuff rather than comics for my AUs but the occasional comic won't hurt :}

Anyway back to the posting schedule ppl are probably used to from me (once a month if I remember)

Combined yesterday's and today's prompts because yesterday I had absolutely NO IDEA what I was gonna do and then I woke up and remembered Change of Plans by AshCoveredTraveler existed so it's based on that

Not my best background I've done but considering that I hate doing backgrounds I'm not fixing it lmao
