You know the True Love's Caress and True Love's Embrace rings in Baldur's Gate 3? The pair of rings where damage dealt on the wearer allocates (is that the right word?) to the wearer of the other ring? Okay, so what if there was a ✨Wild Magic✨ scenario or something where the two people wearing the rings accidentally swapped bodies?
And then the two of them are like WTF and basically curse their entire lineage for magic existing in the first place?
I think that's a route I want to explore in a one shot of my current BG3 fic. I think it would be *cough* sexy if Tav and Gale switched bodies *cough* but also it would be hilarious if Gale and Astarion switched bodies?
Gale would be going: "What kind of farce...?! I don't have time for this!"
Meanwhile Astarion is half-blind and half-deaf in Gale's body? But he doesn't care because fuck yeah, he's mortal and can eat whatever he wants again! Then the scene cuts to Gale in Astarion's body holding his head in his hands.
Posting this because I want additional funny ideas and/or shenanigans they could get up to while body switched.
