Hesperia as ...Hesperia
There are a couple of different Hesperias from mythology but I thought I'd pick this particular one: a naiad-nymph of the River Cebren. Apparently she stepped on a poisonous snake and died :((

I think everyone's probably already done this challenge so I'll leave it as an open tag!
So this boy right here is what began my obsession with BG3, then dnd, then writing and drawing his entire story.
I first just made him as a Tav for the game, but when I finished the game, I missed him so much I turned him into a dnd character and started playing the game for the first time! This led to many years of fun and heartbreaking storytelling, and inspired me to write and get creative again. I'm now 47k words into a novel about his parents' story before he was even born, and plan to write his story too. I've done cosplay as him, made countless art, and am always inspired by my sad little blue boy.
So let me introduce Fits. He's a Circle of the Shepherd druid. His parents died when he was very young, so he grew up as an urchin in the city streets, largely surviving by running with the local stray animals. He named himself so he'd find somewhere to belong one day. A passing druid found him as a young teen and eventually saved him from the streets. He has poor people skills, can scale a wall in a blink, collects mushrooms and absolutely refuses to wear shoes. I love him to bits!
The premise so far: Rue had been taken captive to Moonrise Towers by the Cult of the Absolute while skulking about the Shadow Cursed Lands for reasons yet unknown. After a few months of torture, being forcefully tadpoled, surviving a shipwreck off the Chionthar, and getting roped into the shared drama of a few other survivors, Rue really just wants some peace and quiet. Not like the tadpole is the craziest thing that’s ever happened to her, anyway.
Though reluctant, she is so far the only one who has previously been to Moonrise Towers and has an idea of how to get back there and hopefully undo this mess, so she tentatively joins the others at camp. After teaching the refugee children some illegal gambling moves, getting kicked out of the druid sanctuary, and throwing verbal fisticuffs at Gale, of course.
This is a fast-paced fic that is being told via brief scenes/vignettes.

Some of these characters inspired her heavily (i.e., Mileena) and some lightly (Aika) but hopefully this gives a good picture of who Venerea is. I'll ramble a bit more below the cut about how each character influenced her.

How each character inspired Venerea
Carmilla: do I need to explain? Icy vampire queen, baddest bitch in town, not often outwardly violent yet casts fear into the hearts of even powerful men... *lovesick sigh*
Nicky: Mostly the manner of speaking. Sort of a voiceclaim. *lovesicker sigh*
Mileena: Her teeth, of course - the better to rip you to shreds with!
Mrs. Lovett: Aesthetics and vibes. Mrs. Lovett is in love/obsession with Benjamin Barker whereas Venerea is not in love/obsession at all, but neither of them are above cannibalism or deceptive schemes and they have a similar sense of style.
Jessica Jones: Sardonic, cynical girlfailure. Does not want to be a hero. Wants to sit on the floor, drink right out of the bottle, forget to do the laundry for weeks, and rot in peace. Life has other plans. *lovesickest sigh*
Aika: Actually the only commonality is the reluctance to be a magical girl. Aika is delightful and pure of heart. Venerea is neither. BUT Venerea does indeed wish that she was not a magical girl and every time she has to cast a spell or fight someone, it's such a drag. She'd rather do literally anything else.
