This took me a while but it's been so much fun to do! :3
What common/uncommon fear do they have?
Bhaalspawn Suna greatest fears are all mostly centered about losing control over her body and her mind. She also secretly fears losing Father's favor and falling into disgrace, ending up as little more than a tool or an empty vessel, good only to sire even more Bhaalspawns.
After lobotomy, she still mostly fears possession, and is deeply scared about losing control and ending up hurting or killing people against her will. Also, she's literally terrified about the unspeakable horrors her previous self might have committed (even if she is mostly unable to remember her past because of her amnesia).
Much later, her main fear will become not being properly able to protect her family and those she loves the most from any kind of harm.
Already fiercely protective towards her lover and partner, she'll literally turn into a beast if anyone dares to threaten her little boy (and she'll also get to experience the full range of common fears most mums experience, plus a few uncommon ones. Perks of having a brilliant storm-sorcerer son with both exceptional brain skills and a natural tendency towards recklessness, I suppose :D).
What are 3 items you can find in their bedroom?
Bhaalspawn version: several vials of poisons/toxins (she personally prepares most of them as a pastime), far too many weapons and several coded letters (mostly correspondence from her 'dearest and nearest' business partner, hehe).
After Bhaal: far too many pots and jars with cosmetics/ointments (her shiny golden scales require proper care, lmao), a small but lavishly decorated incense burner, several poetry books.
On a scale of 1-10, how high is their pain tolerance?
10/10 obviously. Perks of being a Bhaalspawn, probably.
And her higher than average pain tolerance does not fade once daddy Bhaal's presence finally vanishes from her mind.
Do they go into fight or flight mode when under pressure?
She has the soul of a fighter, and she tends to fight even harder wher she feels overwhelmed or under pressure.
She would rather die standing and fighting than accepting to live on her knees: flight mode can be contemplated only if someone she loves or she's deeply loyal to is involved and in real danger (after Bhaal/lobotomy, obviously).
Do they come from a big family/are they a family person?
Aside from daddy Bhaal and her other 'blood relatives' (she never truly considered them, Orin included, like a real 'family' in the ordinary sense), the closest thing to a family she has ever known as a child was the couple of half-elves who found and adopted her.
After lobotomy (but also after her death/rebirth), she can't even remember anything about them anymore.
In game, she ends up finding a new family in Gale, while in fics she leaves the city forever to start anew in Amn (by a certain ex-tyrant's side).
Neither her (nor her husband) would exactly describe themselves as 'family persons', at least in the beginning, but they both secretly crave deep connections and meaningful bonds.
They spend a long time mourning their unborn daughter together, finding some kind of relief in their shared pain, yet in the end they're finally given another opportunity and are blessed with a son, turning into the most fiercely protective kind of parents imaginable. Truly disgusting, lmaooo 😆
What animal represents them best?
Her legendary animal could be the phoenix, the immortal bird symbol of life, death and rebirth, that after long centuries burns up in a fire and then comes back to life from its own ashes.
Her real world animal could be the tiger, symbol of unconscious and untamed forces, raw passion and of the 'shadow self' in psychology.
Just like a tiger, she's strong and ferocious but also graceful. Also, I'm obsessed with the idea of the tiger being a symbol of the Hindu goddess Durga (that's pretty close to 'Durge', after all :D), who also rides a tiger, symbol of divine power, protection and defeat of negative forces).
What’s a smell they like/dislike?
She loves the dry and aromatic smell of sandalwood, the fragrance of incense but also the earthy scent of petrichor (dry soil after the rain).
Also, despite her memory loss she never truly forgot about the earthy/sweet scent of her lover's cologne, the only fragrance still able to make her feel safe, akin to a hazy reminiscence of a long forgotten home.
She fiercely hates the smell of damp and mold, the peculiar mixed scent of iron and fish always lingering around the harbor and the acrid smell of smoke.
Have they broken any bones?
A lot, especially as a teen/young adult, but she can't exactly remember which ones, given her memory loss.
How would a stranger likely describe them?
Charismatic, intriguing and deeply fascinating, but at the same time also kinda intimidating and even vaguely scary. Her Bhaalspawn version is definitely NOT for the faint of heart: beautiful, mysterious but also lethal, she's an alluring creature whose attentions usually turn into a death sentence for her lovers (Gort is her only exception).
After tadpoling, she still has has the aura of a seductive and almost irresistible femme fatale, but her sharp angles slowly start to turn into softer edges, making her look far more approachable and almost 'human', even beautifully fragile sometimes.
Are they a night owl or a morning bird?
Definitely a night owl. She's way more active at night, has a deeply troubled sleep schedule (especially as a Bhaalspawn) and loves spending the darkest hours after midnight reading poetry, journaling, sharpening and polishing her blades and, obviously, distracting her work-addicted lover from tinkering at his desk all night. Every time she notices shadows of exhaustion deepening around his eyes, she knows exactly what to do to persuade him to leave his tools/quill behind and enjoy some well deserved, shared moments of sweet oblivion (and she secretly loves wearying him out until he can't help but fall asleep like a baby, so she can spend what remains of the night enjoying the blissful expression all the previous activity left on his face, hehe :3).
What’s a flavour they hate and a flavour they love?
Bhaalspawn Suna hates excessive sweetness and too bitter flavors, but loves strong red wine and the taste of lust and fear in her lovers' blood.
Once Bhaal is gone from her mind and life, she mostly hates anise and sour foods/beverages, but loves the spicy and pungent flavors of clove and cinnamon, and the taste of honey mixed with saffron. Also, she's still pretty much obsessed with 'tasting' her lovers, but luckily for Gort the flavor of lovers' blood is not at the top of her personal list anymore (there are so many far better options after all, hehe 😏)
Do they have any hobbies?
Her hobbies 'before and after Bhaal' did not change much (except maybe for torture and other kinds of 'unsavoury pastimes', hehe 🤭).
She loves reading/writing poetry, journaling, studying and practicing alchemy, brewing potions (and poisons), distracting her lover (later husband) from working/tinkering too much (her methods are totally failproof btw :3), but also spending far too much time in the bathtub (alone or not) 😈
Boom! Surprise birthday party! How do they react?
Bhaalspawn version: she obviously does not have a 'birthday' to celebrate, but will gladly enjoy a surprise party anyway, better if it involves blades, sex and sacrifices.
After Bhaal: at first she finds the whole 'birthday' idea a little odd, but give her some time and she will definitely learn to appreciate the idea. She loves receiving gifts of any kind, especially wine, flowers and jewelry, but speding some private time with her lover after party will definitely remain her most favorite part of the whole 'celebration'.
Do they have neat or messy handwriting?
Neat and elegant, precise and almost meticulous.
What are two emotions they feel the most?
Bhaalspawn version: bloodlust and rage.
Fear and frustration after lobotomy.
Shame/guilt (for her past deeds) and grief (about her unborn daughter) after being brought back from the dead and finally learning the most painful of truths about her past from a certain someone ;)
No worries, she will later leave such nasty feelings behind and will find more than one reason to feel proud of herself, her life and accomplishments once again.
What kind of accent do they have?
I chose voice 4 for her, so that's her accent, at least in game. But in my headcanons, she has Florence Welch's voice and accent (and also hair colour, obviously :D)
