Skippy’s Gastropub Manila in BGC, Taguig
Skippy’s Gastropub is one of the most-loved bars in BGC, Taguig. Formerly it’s known as Skippy’s Bar and Grill I’ve been here 4 years ago and I actually tried their steaks. Aside from their palatable choices of dishes, it’s the ambiance that everyone crazed for. Skippy’s is an Australian themed restaurant and bar located at The Forum.
Skippy’s haven’t changed from the day I’ve found it. Guests still love hanging out here for some food and booze. Some goes here to watch sports games and even play pool.
It’s actually good to be back and try their new dishes which I everything loved.
Inside is very instagrammable. You wouldn’t find any bar like this in BGC. The concept really brings you to the world of Australia.
What I love here is they offer different kind of booze. I like that they provide the not-the-usual type of beers and cocktails. Skippy’s actually introduced me this drink called “Magners”.
I first indulged to their salad. I like the bacon and chicken on top of fresh lettuces. This is good for 2-3 persons.
The pasta is so meaty with generous amount of beef topped with cheese and french toast bread. The meat and the sauce is too tasty, I actually wanted some more.
The mango shake is crushed perfectly. The sweetness is just fine.
The pizza served to us is meaty and saucy. It’s festive.
The chicken fingers is my favorite. The cut of chicken is thick. The taste is too strong it actually leaves my tongue. This is perfect for beer!!!

The interiors were perfectly placed and planned.
It’s another jampacked Friday. Guests can jive with the band and request their favorite songs.
Skippy’s will always be one of my favorite hang-out spots in BGC.
