headcannon: Malari LOVES games that have a stripping element (such as whatever the equivalent of strip poker is for trolls, etc) and is liable to accept or butt into any offer to play them, and often with complete strangers if they're hot and she's pretty sure they're not creeps. she usually deliberately loses when playing against her partners though. Bhadai loves good competition, so this process annoys her even though she has a great appreciation for Malari's naked form.

everything here is correct up until “deliberately loses,” she would play them normally and see where they go. the fact that she usually loses is just bad luck. also, bhadai wouldn’t play strip games, though pholot would and rheema might.

Something makes your ear twitch.

You straighten up, and look around you. After a couple seconds... you spot something adorably tiny!

Well, it’s decided. You must have it.

You reach up and try to just... grab it. It bolts up a tree. No big deal, you think to yourself as you grab a branch and hoist yourself. You’ve climbed a few trees in your time.

You follow it up the tree, then up one of the branches, until it is perched on the very end of a branch. Giggling, fueled by whatever instinct it is inside you that makes you want to chase small things that run away, you reach out and bat it with your hand!

You do it a few more times just to pester and daze it, then you grab it with both hands and clutch it to your chest, swinging down so you’re now hanging upside-down from the branch. You squeeze the little ten-tentacled thing, and play around with the little suckers that curl up around your fingers.

You then curl up around it and roll into a ball as you drop from the branch. Your soft body absorbs the shock well, and the thing seems frightened, but healthy when you stand. You carry it back to your hive.

When you show Malari the new addition to your terrarium, you’re surprised to see that she seems a bit upset by its addition. You offer to remove it, to which she says no, but... you probably will, anyway. You don’t want to upset her.

A couple days later, you wake to see that it has eaten all the mammals you’ve caught.
