Those who meet her recognize that there's something about Malari that just seems different. Perhaps not freakish or non-trollian, but she just seems to command attention, and not just because of her loud, dominant personality.

Malari has a constant need to hog the spotlight and be the prettiest person in the room. This attitude tends to make people aggravated, but for some reason, people's anger toward her doesn't tend to last long. Before long, people tend to see things her way. She doesn't know why, but she's not complaining.

She certainly doesn't dress or act like a person who was ever schoolfed for pharmacy, though perhaps she does look like a dropout. Her short attention span and constant need for excitement certainly make one wonder how she got there in the first place.
