Me at Annie's house- they added a door! Fun fact! the new found out is literally on the same block which you wouldn't know from watching the show (or at least I didn't). I would KILL for Annie's commute. And she lives literally a three minute walk from a Tescos AND the Italian place where I had the most delicious Chai Latte I've ever had. Seriously that latte will be haunting me the rest of my life and I will be comparing all other lattes to it so long as I live.

Me at the New Found Out- I went in there, they told me they only serve drinks so I left, then I was legit too scared to go in there by myself sorry guys I have no journalistic integrity (left)

The sign for the music shops that Gilbert takes Annie to- it is currently attached to a froyo shop! I did not go in because it was crowded. But fun fact I got all the Smiths albums I wanted while in the UK so I did honor gilbert that way (right)

Annie's headstone- within walking distance of the cemetery where Annie was buried. Tried to find the actual plot but after 10 minutes it started feeling disrespectful? So I left :0

Me at Honolulu Heights- it is built on an IMPOSSIBLE hill but oh my gosh what a beautiful location. I guess thats why they call it Honolulu HEIGHTS haha. It is a very short walk to the train station (which was the highlight of my trip honestly you got me im a train girl) (but it also makes me laugh because if Hal's trinity had decided to take the train it could've been a day trip) (left)

Me at John's Cafe- Tom's first appearance. It is in the same area of the Barry Island Pleasure park which McNaire gets taken and later Alex visits with her brothers. Iirc the fries were pretty good here. Also fun fact! There are several shops in this area dedicated to a different BBC show, so if you tell any locals "I'm here to see the locations of my favorite show" they WILL assume you're talking about that show. (right)

The Barry Island Promenade- Mitchell and Annie had a scene here. beautiful place, also a short walk from the Pleasure park. All of this is within walking distance of Honolulu Heights

Me on the bumper cars! Which is where Alex takes the little Victorian boy. First and hopefully last time driving in the UK. Several head on collisions despite my effort to follow everyone else, I legit had bruises on my legs for weeks after 😭😭 I have STORIES about these bumper cars guys

Cafe on the corner- aka Fanny's cafe, unfortunately closed. Also, easily one of my worst faces but whatever lmfao! If you cant handle me at my [café on the corner face] then you dont deserve me at my [random Cafe proudly ignoring the peas face]. This was one of the farther locations for the later seasons- had to Uber there. (Left)

First Cafe my mom and I went to! Most flattering photo so its going in the post, relevant or not. Unrelated anecdote! I had a brief conversation with my airbnb host who lived in Barry while shooting, and they told me they met all of the main actors except for Robson Green- who played McNaire. The way they said it made it sound like Robson Green is more of a celebrity than the rest of the cast? I may be missing vital information. (right)
