I still have no idea what to make of Adam Weiczorek at this point. Looked like shit vs Hamilton, got boxer/brawled up by a dude who is primarily a wrestler and then you can see him making some adjustments. He gave Bhullar problems with a quick inside leg kick every time Bhullar got in a bit too close. Wieczorek got clobbered against the fence a bit, recovered to force a clinch exchange or two, he gets taken down and chases a kimura which it looked like he absolutely had but then Bhullar gets free. Wieczorek found a way to the fence and immediately went to work at first for a triangle before he got a fucking omoplata. Amazing work from the big dude.
Arjan Bhullar has some DC in his game, I don't think that's a stretch. The body type, their entries into takedowns, the way they can string takedown attempts together and the power without fundamentals in their hands. DC worked hard to improve his striking with an elite camp for that. Bhullar smothered his offense on the feet and that could be because of a discomfort at range BUT you can’t be a great fighter if you’re afraid to be at range with someone. The striking chops need some work. Not sure if Bhullar can get that kind of work in Vancouver although I'm ignorant as to how good the gyms in BC are.
