Diana had just gotten out of the bathtub. She collected her book and wine glass, humming along to the neo-soul music softly playing from the speaker. As she entered her bedroom she froze upon seeing the person perched on the edge of her bed and tightened her towel around her. “What the hell? Why are you here? How did you even get inside? I distinctly remember telling you I never wanted to see or hear from you the last time I saw you,” she sighed, scratching the bridge of her nose. “Then again, you never came across as someone that took direction well.”

Tonight was amazing. Jared couldn’t always say that for dates, but honestly who could? He could be himself and felt like he could see who the other person was outside of the tabloids. They’d casually met up for coffee or a quick meal but finally got the chance to go on an official date, until tonight. He walked the other up to their door and paused as they were about to say goodnight. “Is it... I-is it weird that I’m scared to kiss you?” He asked in an unsteady voice, nervously looking at his date.
