what is ur secret to writing yfm so accurately are you sure u aren't rwj undercover??? (if u aren't ray and it's just the yfmtism doing its thing then im impressed my respects)
also do u think they would invest in polymarket bet predictions?? (im talking about the dumb ones. like "what word will mr beast say next", "will the drake album or gta release first", etc)
I have a set of rules I try to follow if that helps any?
Rule number one. Remember this is all based around a comedy band created by a youtuber from the early 2010s. If I try to take everything so seriously, I’m not writing YFM correctly. Tackling serious topics will never be the focus of a whole work, only some sections.
Rule number two. These four men do all care about each other in their own twisted way. They’re not the type to show it well, but that’s just a “boys will be boys” kind of thing. Puff and Axel only tease Benatar as a bro thing, not out of malice.
Rule number three. They are grown men who are at minimum 21 years old. None of them are innocent. Remember that. I try to display a level of maturity appropriate for them. But not too much maturity- it’s not very funny that way.
Rule number four. Do not show your biases. Favoring/ignoring a certain character has no excuse due to the difference in medium. Don’t overly spotlight one member unless that’s the point of the story.
But no, I'm not Ray, I don't have a wife and I hate AI. This is genuinely something that doesn't require much effort so I think it's weaponized autism.
I don't even think I write them accurately to begin with. Because they were never full characters. I filled in too many blanks and have now created a monster.
Also I'm the most militant benapuffer I know. I don't think RWJ is.
