The people prayed, and asked God to be delivered from slavery. And when He answers and begins working towards that in His way, it doesn’t look like what they expected, so they reject His methods, and all they can do is complain, as God began a good work bringing them to the endgame of freedom, they did not trust Him to finish well. They are so focused on their situation, and the trials that they have in their life that have increased, they don’t even hear the promise made for their deliverance. When we have prayed and it gets worse before it gets better, how do we act? Do we remember that sometimes it gets darker before the dawn? Do we remember God is faithful and trustworthy? Do we let go of our expectations and yield to God’s methods that may not be like ours, but always end well? What will happen if our present cultural chaos gets much worse? Will we patiently endure in trust of God’s methods with an activated #faith ?
