sometimes people are too forgiving of kyouko. she bullied, beat on him, and sexual abused him—and she continued to harass him into adulthood, i do not think rei and her need to develop a relationship with each other in the future.

it seems a lot healthier for them to just… not be around each other, which is what is happening in the manga.
