please bear in mind i have pulled out about 1/3 of my tuning mods and checked them. i'm not done by far but i mostly pulled out ones i have huge quantities of (LMS/sims4me etc). i found that with just a few creators everything worked...but anytime i added in sims4me/bienchen4 More Diverse Speech and Thought Bubbles the bedtime story option disappeared. I alerted the creator and they were SO NICE ABOUT IT. they've already uploaded it again so it doesn't conflict anymore
