NOT THE DOWNTOWN I KNEW from 25 plus years ears ago. Truly! . I used to walk all these streets with my brand @canonusa EOS R with film camera purchase in Madrid woth sweat and tears. I was a student back there and the money I earned producing fashion photography sets during weekend and nights allowed me to purchase that brand new fabulous apparatus. . I remember buying rolls of film at the Phoenix Camera Store and head to downtown for First Friday, ArtDetour, Sunday on Central, or to the Ice House @theicehouse_az to the Patriots Park and many other locations to “see” the city. . Well, the city I expected is the city we have today, and one that will be incredible in the future, giving the many plans traced by our current mayor @mayorkategallego and the ones before, @gregstantonaz, @skiprimza. @goddard2432. . Today, this area is full of life, is the center of bio research with the PBC (Phoenix Bio Campus) @phoenixbiosciencecor and the life that many students from @arizonastateuniversity and other education institutions being with them. . This is an exciting time to be here, to live here and to see this city in the desert expand, density and thrive. . Not all is as colorful as the graffiti mural behind me, we have growing pains and water issues to solve, but a desert reseller will always find solutions to shade and water, trust me. . This time technology will allow us to keep dreaming and keep building the city of the future. .
