As a part of The Big Draw Netherlands, I got the chance to draw on some windows in my hometown in Arnhem! This is the first shop which is a traditional Chinese acupuncture practice called Ben Ran. I got inspired by drawings of the acupuncture meridians and gave my own spin to it. I got help from my lovely friend Els, which helped a lot. 

This was the first-time doing window drawings on this scale. I got a lot of experience (and tips from my friend) from this experience and I feel like I could tackle this way better in the future.

I visited the lovely Orchard Theatre in my hometown today, it was so nice to be back there again. It made me think back on projects I'd started there too... isn't it endearing how a small idea can grow into something huge! A year after I was an artist for The Big Draw at the Orchard Theatre, I began work on a community art project to brighten up the derelict Lowfield Street. It was a lengthy but amazing project to be a part of. Unfortunately some of the pieces have recently been vandalised (with very shit graffiti) and the vinyl needs updating etc. If people want to learn street art they should first learn not to graffiti - huge difference guys. Regardless, it has held for over a year and is still all looking fantastic! Same owner but a different store in the very beautiful shopping street (and even Monopoly spot) #steenstraat. This is Art Star, a clothing repair store. The owner felt that a lot of people walk by the store not knowing what kind of business is inside. I feel like this quilt drawing might help with that. The same friend was helping me again! We did both on one day which was quite the task. Thanks Big Draw Netherlands for the opportunity! Would love to draw on more windows!
