Several tracking chips that were embedded into the escaped inmates skin have been located and retrieved over the past few days. We have discovered which inmates a few of the chips had originally belonged to.

One was found in East Village and had evidence of electrical damage to it. This chip was discovered to of belonged to the inmate Ina Sommia, a thrill seeking and adrenaline fueled woman with seemingly superhuman vision but with a weakness to bright and flashing lights.

She has yet to be truly found but several eye witnesses have claimed to of seen a woman wearing tinted goggles and an orange jumpsuit driving a stolen motorboat towards The Bronx.

Another pair of tracking chips found where those belonging to Matthew Murdock and Samuel Chung.

Samuel Chung's chip was found in an empty warehouse in Chelsea along with drops of blood that were a match for Matthew Murdock. Possibly suggesting that they were together when removing their chips. What is rather interesting however is that Murdock's chip was later found in an abandoned apartment building within Hell's Kitchen. Neither of them have been found and we have no eyewitnesses that have reported seeing them or what direction they were heading in after the removal of their chips.

Below an abandoned church sits a series of dusty tunnels and within a side chamber of those very tunnels sits Murdock upon a foldable mattress in a meditation pose. He's been focusing on expanding his hearing throughout the city as far as possible during his and Samuel's prison escape in search of a specific heartbeat.

Samuel sits at an broken and hastily put back together table with the very tablet Shield had given his mentor several months ago. He's already disabled the tracking on it and has seemingly just finished jailbreaking the device itself in order to allow the device access to the world wide web. Something that was certainly needed as now they can stay updated with any news Shield puts out on the escaped inmates.

"Hey Sensei, I finished breaking into your tablet. You found anything yet?"

"I have located several heartbeats throughout the city that belong to old informants and acquaintances but Nelson's is yet to be found."

"Mr. Nelson could of just moved to a different part of the city after his term was up."

"Perhaps so but there is another more likely chance of him leaving the city all together. Presumably in order to avoid whatever consequences he belived would track him down after my disappearance due to our association."

Murdock stands up from his meditation position and does a few stretches after sitting still for awhile.

"Another likely outcome however is The Hand had him killed after my incarceration, they were rather aware of the assitance I provided him. Perhaps they viewed Nelson as being unnecessary and nothing more than a lose thread to tie up."

Murdock walks towards the entrance of the chamber and doesn't turn his head back towards Samuel to address him.

"Now that we have a fully operational piece of technology why don't you do some research. Try to find an obituary for Nelson or any information of where he's run off to."

"Of course Sensei, what will you be doing?"

"I'll be scoping out the remainder of these tunnels including the building above us. Perhaps there are more secrets that I hadn't detected earlier."

With that Murdock picks up the thick branch he left against the entrance and starts his journey through the tunnels leaving Samuel behind to start on his new task. The younger man does some stretches before starting on his research.

At approximately 11:45 am on August 12th a large scale riot occurred. Several of the inhibitor collars on the powered inmates had a sudden and unexpected failure allowing the inmates free use of their powers. They caused severe damage to the compound itself allowing for multiple other inmates to escape. Once communications have been fully been reestablished we will be sending out several agents to recapture these escapees.

Shield is currently gathering the names and information of the escaped inmates and will be sending those out to several news outlets later tonight. If you see someone who looks like an escaped prisoner do not approach them, it is best for you to call the NYPD or Shield itself.
