Nick scratches his stubble turning to gus
“the guys have been keeping a close eye on him the last month since the night that armoured truck was stolen”
nick takes a wad of photos off gus examines each one till he flips to the last plastering a cocky smile on his face turning the photo to gus “thats the chick from the srip club id remember her face anywhere“
“Yea shes been round merrimen quite a bit lately, in-fact they have been seen together 24/7”.
Gus pulls out another handful of photos and throws them over to nick.
“merrimens been seen leaving her apartment 6 out of 7 days a week”
Nick grunts “not like merrimen to have a chick on his crew but saying that she is a feisty little thing maybe he likes being beaten up. ”
Nick lets out a little chuckle seemingly pleased with himself after the last comment.
“I dunno boss, but we do know she aint no average chick after the way she chucked you over her sholder”
Nick shoots gus a dirty look but guss just keep his normal composure generally intrigued by the black haired girl in the photos.
“there must be something, everyone else on his crew has a background with him bosco enson merrimen all ex military why would he bring someone in on whatever he’s up to with nothing to bring to the table”
Nick keeps staring at the picture of you both rubbing his thumb over your face “there must be something were just missing it.”
“not unless el jeffe has actually just fallen for the broad”
Nick shakes his head “no he wouldn’t get that involved with someone unless they had something he wanted hes to tactical for all that bullshit”
“Well boss every photo she’s smiling they look happy “
Nick felt slightly agitated by the fact that you did look so happy. he was going to find out who you where after that night but with his divorce in progress you’d had slipped his mind. yes you had pissed him off but he was slightly impressed.
Nick breathes in deep remembering the smell of your hair, he’d managed to rest his head in your hair when he had his forearm around your neck that night it smelt of honey.
Jealousy rose in the pit of his stomach realising that ray would have smelt the same smell by now.
He sat just staring at the picture for a moment before he cut your face out and went over the board with the rest of the crews faces and proceeded to sick your face above merrimens mugshot.
“He must not of shown his true colours yet but when he does i bet she comes running. Bet she doesn’t realise her boyfriend is a cop killer. What we got on her so far “
Gus starts tapping away on his computer and its not long before he has your life history up on screen.
“28 years of age, mother and father deceased. owns Tonys auto shop down south street was handed over to her after her father was shot in action when she was 16. father was in the marines, her mother died whilst giving birth to her she was raised by her father”

“Got a few trophies in high school for kickboxing grade A student. After school seems like she went down hill hung around with the wrong people, got in fights ended up having run ins with the police”

“Yep murdered on july 25 2006. first run in with the law September 4 2006 slap on the wrists for defacing a shop wall. gets gradually worse from there, spent numerous nights in cells for brawling with men and women”

Nick walks over and leans down to the computer screen and sees your mug shot “shame.....such a pretty thing even in her god damn mugshot “
gus continues to read “ done for speeding an excess of 9 times,theft of a motor vehicle ended up cuffed to a hospital bed. traffic crew had to spike the tires to catch her resulting in her crashing the vehicle. she suffered multiple injuries but she managed to stay out of prison and ended up paying restitution to the owner, took a loan out on the garage to pay it off. Went quiet for a few years then in 2010 was arrested again for grand theft auto but ended up in-prisoned for 2 years released for good behaviour after that nothing she seemed to behave after that”
Nick smiles like hes won the lottery suddenly he’s able to fit all the puzzle together “merrimens using her to drive. Get me the speeds up”
nick grabs the mouse and flicks through the information “fastest speed recorded 175mph.”
“But how would merrimen know that”
“I dont know ive not worked that bit out yet”
“Could just be coincidence there’s millions of other felons with speeding tickets”
Both men take a moment of silence to try and figure it out but have no luck.
“Do you want us to pick her up bring her in”
“Nahhh to obvious i wanna go see her I think with a bit of pressure rays little girl will crack, when she realises who ray really is shes sing like a canary and i wanna be there to listen”
“Gunna be hard to get her alone boss”
“Then lets make this interesting lets pay them both a visit. Make merrimen squirm”
“Well leave donny for now let him start to feel comfortable, I’m more interested in her but if she wont spill we have him as canary number two”
