An Accident

@bigsisterofthesand It had been months since Temari had started training with Blake. He wasn't as good as Black Canary, but he definitely felt that she had improved immensely. Blake had decided on the two of them doing a small mission together. Nothing major, but a bit more serious than fighting thugs on the street. Actually Blake had taken notice that crime had been on the rise in his new friend's neighborhood, and he was following a lead to try to find out why. Things never just started to get worse for no reason. It was pretty bad already. There was always a reason. "Alright, are you sure you're ready for this? These people will be armed and dangerous." The hero cut her a glance. "Stick close to me and be mindful of my shriek. We have to act quick and take them out before they get a chance to fire their weapons."

Kiba blinked, frowning. “Don’t call Akamaru a mutt!” Even though he was indeed a mix-breed. Clicking his tongue, he turned his nose up at her, Akamaru giving a deep bark at the vehicle  before them. “Tch.. Well I’m going to stay here just because of that.” The brunet stared her down through the windshield after crossing his arms, as if challenging her to try to hit him. At least his bills would be paid if she did.

He gave Temari’s room a light knock before given the permission to enter, biting his lower lip slightly in anticipation. He held a small beige colored box with silver lettering on the top, inside containing a dozen fine candied chestnuts. He was never a fan of them himself, but he knew they were one of Temari’s absolute favorite confections. It was her birthday today, after all, and he wanted to show that he hadn’t forgotten.   

         “They’re from a sweets shop in Konoha, Naruto showed me the last time we visited. I was happy to find that they shipped to various locations outside of their village. I hope you like them... happy birthday, Temari.“ 

He gave a modest smile, holding the box out to his dear sister.

The King stood in the pathway that lead to the entrance to Suna, the Sand Village. The Daemons known as Heartless and Nobodies had appeared with the intention to invade the Village and steal people’s hearts and their existence. Not on his watch. He was fighting them off, just now cutting one in half, making it cease to be.

Sasuke absolutely does not consider himself to be a romantic by any means. He generally isn’t a romantic person. He struggles to have romantic feelings. Despite this, he has been known to do things that come across as romantic even though he doesn’t understand that it would come across that way since he is someone who doesn’t really understand romantic feelings. Since his intentions aren’t romantic, he doesn’t think his actions are either. If someone is infatuated with him, this can lead to miscommunication. This has happened with Naruto many times in some verses. LOL. Oops. He doesn’t find interest in the cliche romantic antics. He doesn’t feel satisfied at performing romantic gestures. However, if he’s really into someone, he will be very romantic. He just doesn’t think he is a romantic because he’s never really been into anyone on that level knowingly, so he doesn’t even know the full extent of his own romanticism yet tbh.

i wake up hungry for shikatema every day

It was dark. Dark, but he knew he had to be walking. He wasn’t sure where. He couldn’t see anything after all. Shikamaru was thinking of how ridiculous this was. Who walked around aimlessly in the dark like this? He just knew he was going to run into a wall if he kept it up like this…

Instead he saw light. It was in the shape of a woman. He couldn’t see any defining features as he squinted, trying to figure out who it was. He couldn’t and he was filled with fear all of a sudden. Since there was light, shadows formed. He tried to perform shadow paralysis jutsu, but the figure of light was too bright and somehow wouldn’t let his shadow even get close to her. 

Shikamaru gritted his teeth and was about to run but, when he turned around, she was closer. Much closer. Shikamaru had to shield his eyes as he was face to face with her. 

The arm reached out and lowered his arm, making him look and he gasped in surprised as he realized it was Temari. The light around her dimmed down as their surroundings were no longer filled with darkness. They were in a park in Konoha. She had her hands on her hips and a smile on her lips and she was saying something Shikamaru couldn’t hear. 

Temari grabbed his hand and that’s when he woke up in his bed. He was sweating and he looked around but he was the only one in his dark room. Clearing the hair from his face, he laid back down, trying to figure out what it meant and trying to get Temari out of his mind.

“You’re damn right it’s not!” Kankuro exclaims throwing an arm over his sisters shoulders. “now want me to jump first beloved sister of mine?” he asks indicating to the edge of the roof of the house the party was taking place in.
