"tonight we are young"
2011. Big number. Great year. It wasn't always easy though. It was also tough, harsh, painful and disappointing in so many ways. I was following a path that wasn't right for me at all and I was pushing people away at the same time. I wasn't exactly giving the right value to my family and I was more concerned on being a shallow and strongly-stereotyped type of person. Being the popular guy was the top priority for me at the time and I did some things that I deeply regret now. I was surrounded by so many people, people who called themselves my friends but in fact I felt more alone than ever. At a certain point I also felt angry at everyone/everything because I wasn't happy. I was actually really sad and I couldn't figure out why. And (randomly) then I started to watch Glee. And I was struggling with a HUGE crush on Lea Michele at the time when I decided to join a random website full of demented young people. I remember that I started a fight about Jonathan Groff on my first day with the majority of the users of that website. No, I don't ship St.Berry. In fact I hate it, ok? Deal with it. Anyways, those people were so welcoming and really nice to me in a way that nobody (and by nobody I mean my "real friends") had ever been. And day by day I started to realize that those people were special. Those people were making me feel happier than I ever felt in my entire life. And then the messenger chatrooms came. The tinychats, the late night talks, the meetings. Yes, they make me happy. Yes I am so f*cking proud of being their friend. This is getting really lame though.
So, I want to dedicate this crappy post to all of you. This is my way of saying "thank you".
this one's for my soulmate without whom I'm not able to live <3 , this one's for the person who understands me like no one else (and the biggest Monchele shipper of all time) , this one's for the weirdest guy that I have the pleasure to know , this one's for my "cine ahah :b" partner and the person who listens to what I have to say even when is random , this one's for the person with the most swag in the whole world (she's really inspirational) , this one's for the adorable person who fangirls about chord overstreet, dianna agron and red hot chili peppers even more than I do , this one's for the funniest person alive and the one who knows how to disable those stupid internet pranks , this one's for the most talented singer/master of spoilers/teacher of the whole world , this one's for the sweetest and fluffiest (?) girl ever , this one's for the nicest and strongest person I've ever met , this one's for the most talented singer I've ever met (seriously, his covers are breathtaking) , this one's for the person who supports me in the hard job/task of "tenrying" and this one's for the nerdiest person ever.
Thank you guys so much for saving my 2011 and by making it the best year of my life.
