Internalized and overt, end white supremacy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Outdoor culture is particularly white centered, a lot of brands grids, advertising, writing and media are particularly curated for the white gaze. And the tokenized stories written by BIPOC are often coated in palatable stories for white respectability. This is why, as an intersectional radical feminist zine, it is our priority to give space to Black, Indigenous, POC writers and artists to be themselves uncensored. For allies, it is your duty to carve out spaces to center them as forms of inclusivity and healing because we are systematically kept out of white-dominated spaces and if we aren’t, we are tokenized and paid less or not at all for our work.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We have the tools for you all to do that in our resources and in our zine. Cyclista Zine would not be as groundbreaking, healing, useful and disruptive if we centered straight-white-male narratives.
