In this class, students can bring their creative ideas to fruition in a fun, collaborative and exciting environment. Students will learn skills in scriptwriting, storyboard sketching, character development, improvisation, and camera skills. Together, the group will write, shoot, and edit a film in a genre of their choosing. Students will learn to edit their films using professional edit software like Final Cut Pro. All final projects are eligible for submission into the Boston International Kids Film Festival in November 2016!
Calling all Junior Filmmakers! Check out the Filmmaking Summer Camp from Boston International Kids Film Festival for 10-14 years from June 27th to July 1st at Canopy City in Somerville. Students will learn the fundamentals of storytelling with a basic understanding of shooting techniques, picture composition, sound recording, lighting, story structure, and editing.
