Which means money owed on a schedule to a real person. And we have never, across all six seasons up to that point, seen Patrick earn so much as a single cent. The show dropped that line and moved straight on. Nobody caught it. But it's the line that starts unraveling everything about how Patrick actually survives in Bikini Bottom, and the answer is genuinely not what you'd expect.
