UNBOUNDED

Free at last, the final exhibition for the students of Bilder Nordic 2016 is up and vey much enjoyed. A great team effort and some very strong work on this years theme of borders in disorder. Well done guys!!

Over a period of three months, the students worked to each create an individual project reflecting on the impact of boundaries and borders. The exhibition attempts to show how today’s physical and psychological borders change and influence both global and Norwegian society.

Borders are in disarray. Personal borders, national borders, social borders and cultural borders. Using cameras the students asked questions, explored, challenged, and documented disorder in ourselves, the nature around us, our culture and our society.

They examined fear, loss, even despair created by borders. And this exhibition reveals the people who have found ways to climb these barriers.
