In 1977 - Bill Clifton put together a little group and recorded this album at Tom T Hall’s recording studio.

Bill Keith [William Bradford "Bill" Keith] (December 20, 1939 – October 23, 2015) was an American five-string banjoist who made a significant contribution to the stylistic development of the instrument.
In 1985 Rowan, Keith And Rooney released this self titled album on the Waterfront record label in the UK. The sound is a little uneven on this recording. That is the reason I don’t go in for those live concert tapes or board feed tapes. Ninety percent of the time someones voice or instrument seems too hot in the mix and to me those are the things that sound checks should find.
I hadn’t heard of this recording until several days ago. Thanks to Chris for helping out and digitizing this one.

This album was originally released in 1975. Banjo Paris Session was recorded with Bill Keith and Jim Rooney from the US along with French bluegrass musicians. This tune was written by Daniel Oliver from France. I believe it was originally released with a different cover.
