There are many intriguing figures within the vast idiom of folk rock, but some of them have a greater presence on this particular scene. However, I would dare to suggest that Bob Dylan looms the largest, so no surprise a couple of folk rockers did the albums, dedicated to the covers of his material. One of them was Joan Baez, who collaborated with Dylan during the 60's. They seem to have mutually influenced one another back then, which resulted in some of their best work and they both continue to appreciate their bond from the period. You can also feel that warmth on Any Day Now, her Dylan LP, where she does many of his compositions. While she finds her own way with Dylan's tunes, you can hear she does this from a place of respect.
