I wanted to harken back to last years #pipelinemasters during this LayDay today . I loved shooting these claims almost more than some of the waves because let's face it , half the fun is seeing how their personalities come through . Sure there's the talent of building the battles against your opponent but what about the before and after those strikes ? Jordy is the most entertaining man. The man that this year had claims like "brandishing the wolverine spikes" or when he rang the bells beach bell with his gesticulations before he even won the contest . That's not hubris , or confidence , that's damn well placing a smart bomb into your opponents head, they're never pre-meditated . They are pure stoke and adrenaline fueled exclamations that make us yell, clap , laugh and smile to no end . Thank you Jordy ! You're a world title winner .
