Jack Kirby’s OMAC. Kirby’s 70s output, when he pretty much created, wrote and drew his own stories, is probably my favorite era of his. Unleashed at full power, Kirby’s hyperactive imagination produced a lot of personal work, all told through his kaleidoscope of personal life experiences, hopes and fears: gangsters, cultural tribalism, war, sacrifice, family, fascism, mythology, history, etc.
