So I read the Dragon!AU and now I have some things I wish to add/change:
Actor is a king who when he was a prince, he and Dark sort of had a one-night stand. When he came back to see Dark again, he finds Dark to be gone and only two eggs in what he knew was Dark’s nest. Of course, he takes one because he remembered stuff about dragons, and he knew that the eggs were his. Before leaving, he leaves a note that he’s sorry for not being back sooner and that there will be a day where they can be with each other.
Dark returns, and he instantly knows that Actor took one of the eggs, but he doesn’t have it in him to go after Actor. Instead, he tries his best to warm Yancy. He knew alone that he won’t do well but getting Actor back wasn’t an option. Weeks go by and before Yancy hatches, a dragon Anti stumbles into their lives. At first, Dark didn’t trust him, but Anti swore to help them both, and after Yancy is born, he sort of was lied to into believing that Anti is his father.
As for Actor, the egg he took hatches at the same time as Yancy, but Night is a tad bit… No, a LOT bigger than Yancy. Of course, Actor raises him and he sort of keeps Night a secret to his villagers due to not knowing how they’ll react. He falls in love with Celine, and they have Yancy and the Jims, but rumors of her being a witch came around and his court executed her without even speaking to him. Ever since, he’s been vigilant about who goes around Night.
Years go by, and Yancy meets a Princess Yandere who wondered too far from the kingdom. He takes her in, having some feeling that he knew her somehow. That’s when a knight Illinois comes to take her back, but of course, he falls for Yancy, and Yandere ends up meeting a dragon Bim who lived nearby.
Actor grows a bit…. Nervous when his daughter and knight come back, so he goes out on his own to search for them (unaware Night and the Jims who follow close behind him). He ends up meeting a dragon named Mike who seems more interested in flirting than anything.
Once he reaches Dark’s cave, he feels…. Fear. They haven’t seen each other in years and chances of him being angry were very high. He goes inside regardless and comes out with Dark, Anti, and Yancy (in that order) chasing him out. Actor goes to apologize when Night gets in front of him; His size being slightly bigger than Dark’s. It doesn’t take much for Dark to connect the dots, and he’s like, “Son?” to Night.
Night goes to yell, but Actor cuts him off by saying, “Yes, his name is Night. I’m sorry for taking him from you, but I wanted something to remember you by.” Night is angry but when a tinier than him Yancy comes up and hugs his leg, he can’t help but cheer up. He always had Yandere and the Jims, but none of them got the struggles of being part dragon.
Sadly, Actor, Yandere, and the Jims have to return to the castle, but Actor decides it’s best if Night choses to stay with Dark for a bit, and the hybrid says yes. Actor leaves, saying he will send someone he trusts to pick Night up later. With that, they leave (with Mike and Bim following them because they crushing on royalty).
Night enjoys his time with Anti, Dark, and Yancy. In fact, he learns of Eric (who is Dark and Anti’s kid). He also learns how to control his abilities more because while he was in the castle, he had to hide them for his safety. Though, his time there ends when Actor sends back his trusted researcher, Host. On the way back, there was moments where Host get Night to pause and actually examine him. He’s never seen a hybrid of a human and a dragon, so that’s why. Night gets used to it, but he starts to blush sometimes when Host gets close to look at small details.
OH DAMN, THIS IS ALL SO GOOD!!!!
