Just wanted to point out this :)))) After s2, Yumoto is NEVER seen next to the twins like to talk or just in a friendly manner

He doesn't even speak to them until he calls them out when protecting them

TO WHICH, he doesn't even acknowledge them after this btw. BUT ADRI, THEY WERE CLOSE AT THE END OF S2!

no, no they were not and in fact, even when Gora first wakes up, Yumoto's own body language is slightly tense (to me).

SO In MY THEORY BRAIN, I think Yumoto doesn't like being near them much. SURE, he's polite to them but you can really tell Yumoto still probably has some qualms about them (Which is completely fair).

LISTEN you cannot convince me otherwise that Wombat in s1ep1 was controlling Yumoto to form the Love Stick

BEFORE HE DOES, He says something along the lines of sometimes you have to use discipline in love and about how you gotta love even your enemies or whatever, BUT LOOK AT YUMOTO'S FACE HERE, it is literally emotionless

AFTER The flash of light, Yumoto looks FINE. He is back to his normal self.

FINALLY a theory on which I KNOW YOu ALL have been waiting for for me to talk about

WHAT IN THE WORLD IS A LOVE GIVEN/TRUE FORM?!

First off, I believe Love-Given and True forms are the SAME in Boueibu's universe, as Wombat says:

What does this exactly mean? I believe the lovracelets help unlock their forms.

Okay, so WHAT do you mean then? I believe that means each boy was always destined to become a Battle Lover/Caerula Adamas member. This includes Gora AND the twins as well.

In fact, right as Wombat even HOLDS his hand up, the boys are glowing. I believe this is slight evidence that they were at least destined to be Battle Lovers, there really is no way that this could be chosen at random IMO.

Along side this, Yumoto naturally adapts into being a hero quickly, which I KNOW, staff probably meant it bc his brother was Maximum Gorar but, even GORA in s2's flashbacks show that he adapts fairly quickly in his weird training sequence.

NOW, when you go to s1ep11, Zundar and Hireashi are talking about how they're in a rut with CIDE2 but interestingly enough, THIS conversation happens (Hireashi calls the power of love, stupid love and that the stupid love power is why he failed last time)

Why does this exactly matter to this theory? Because it DOES show that Hireashi KNEW there were beings on Earth who could oppose him with the power of love. HE KNOWS THIS because of his fight with Gora and he did know of the Battle Lovers thanks to Kinosaki.

He knew that Gora had a brother, not sure if Hireashi KNEW that Yumoto/Battle Lover Scarlet was but he would surely know by s1ep10 after Kinosaki watches Gora run up to Yumoto and the others WHILE yelling Yumoto's name. He WOULD Know at least by ep11, when he says THIS:

BUT GOING BACK to True/Love-Given Forms, what does it mean for s2 then when s1's bracelets break? These bracelets JUST allow them to use their true forms, I think their forms are deep in their hearts.

Why are they STRONGER? S1 they were just LOVRACELETS, in s2 they are their TRUE LOVRACELETS. These forms are stronger and can let them unleash more power.

What about Gora then? What did Aki and Haru MEAN when they said THIS:

Same with before, I believe Battle Lover Scarlet is Yumoto's true form.

Io's real form? Battle Lover Sulfur. Kinshiro's real form? Chevalier Aurite. Atsushi? Battle Lover Epinard. Haru? Salty Sol.

It really IS in a way self-explanatory.

This is why the monsters are in Binan, these aliens/villains from space, can SENSE the True Forms/Love-Given Forms deep inside the boys, this is why I think Kinshiro being chosen by Zundar, was NOT random. Neither was the others.

SAME, With Dadacha choosing the twins. WHY ELSE would Dadacha come up to two children randomly? He SENSED it in them. He knew he had to exploit their powers/true forms before someone such as Wombat could pick them. It would be easy to as well with the twins being the only few humans IN Andromedia

Hashibiro FINDING GORA? He would have sensed it strongly due to him AND Yumoto, but Yumoto would have been roughly six-eight years old when Gora was in High School (depending on how old Gora is here).

AND THIS IS WHY Wombat landed IN the Kurotama bathhouse, he could sense the forms of Epinard and Cerulean along with Scarlet AND Gorar.

we see time and time again that the Battle Lovers can heal without being transformed. Along side this, in s1ep7 En notes that the Student Council had a weird vibe around them.

AND with them being dubbed as "Heirs to the Throne of Love", this must mean IMO that their true/love-given forms are CONNECTED to the Throne of Love.

Hopefully we find out more in the movie....

HI YES HELLO this is my theory on why I believe Yumoto Hakone is the strongest Battle Lover and no one can prove me wrong unless you too think something different and in that case, okay I believe you.

In BOTH Seasons, Yumoto gets his powers FIRST.

So, let's ignore the fact right now that his brother was Maximum Gorar (until later) and let's look at s1 as a whole. Already in s1ep1 we see Yumoto naturally adapt to being a Battle Lover and the others note this as well. He even punches the monster after using the Love Attack for the first time and this kid IS NOT someone who hits people. (He does throw a kick too in s1ep5)

Then if we go to S1ep8, Yumoto shoots the monster out of their house to the SCHOOL.

In the s1 finale, Yumoto blocks Kinshiro's attack with Atsushi like it's basically nothing and they only get pushed back due to the force of it all (Although you can see some strain on his face, but Yumoto's attack seems even stronger than Atsushi's here).

Yumoto even blocks Gora's attacks like they're nothing with his own Love Stick and even the Love Staff. He even takes care of Zundar and Hireashi on his own for a hot minute.

Let's skip to s2, we see right away that Yumoto is pretty strong (Atsushi does outshine him a tad in the first ep). Yumoto's strength is shown a lot as the season goes on

In s2ep9, Yumoto's own attack evolves into the Love Sprinkle (Which we don't see again, BOO), this attack is JUST as strong as the Love Attack but not healing enough on its own as True Love Fountain

The s2 finale i've talked about tO DEATH but I want to really focus on his attacks in s2ep11, he is the first to attack but the last to fall. He withstands more attacks than the others it seems and ONLY falls once he is attacked with basically bombarded with a super strong attack by the VEPPer

And we all know berserk Yumoto so I'm going to skip the photos for this scene (lol), we see Yumoto panic so hard and so much that we see actually what happens when a Battle Lover gets super deep into their emotions. My favorite thing too, WHEN Yumoto turns Ultra More Better, Zundar AND Dadacha scream, "NOT AGAIN!" and Kinshiro actually looks very HOPEFUL when Yumoto does and is stunned (KinMoto fans REJOICE)

OKAY now to THE OVA!!

Yumoto is such a badass in the OVA when they let him. NOT ONLY does he block attacks with ease but he EVEN helps the twins and IF YOU WATCH, in the OVA, Yumoto NEVER talks to them or even stands near them until he protects them which starts the final stages of the fight. We see how Yumoto can throw out strong attacks and can block EVEN stronger attacks.

He even instigates healing the monster when they're in civilian form <3

TO ME, Yumoto is the strongest Battle Lover, EMOTION wise. Atsushi does note that Yumoto's powers come from his own emotions during the berserk scene. Even when he's knocked down, he usually can get right back up if needed.

In fact, I do enjoy the scenes when Yumoto DOES get knocked back, because it does show, even someone as powerful as Yumoto can fall before getting back up. Yumoto is supposed to be this show's Sailor Moon, and you know, I like that he's NOT a carbon copy, sure, he's strong, sure, he sometimes cries and sometimes doesn't win at the start, but he does NOT back down!

Yumoto is a 16-year-old by the end of the series and I would really love to see the movie elaborate on his own strength and even the others, they deserve to shine.

LET ME FINALLY GIVE MY THOUGHTS ON THIS SCENE RIGHT HERE. Hi I am obsessed with this scene for absolutely no reason. I have MANY THOUGHTS on it and I want to share my analysis on this entire minute scene. It has been almost EIGHT YEARS NOW since it aired (Sorry some of this got formatted weird by Tumblr hhhhh)

Right here, you can see the moment where Yumoto's heart just drops into his stomach and he realizes he MAY actually lose for the first time ever as a Battle Lover (Which would be A VERY INTERESTING THING to see!)

Now why do they show him in the past? It shows that this is a REAL fear of his, losing Gora is such a big deal to him. This MAY have happened before at home but as a child, this scene takes place during the events we saw with the tiny Beppu bros in ep 10. Where he was left alone

Starting off with this, WHERE is this coming from? Well, Sailor Moon S1Ep1, we see Usagi having an attack JUST like this, and it is a defensive attack, which I believe Yumoto's own attack was based on. Wombat MUST have known about this, I believe he NEVER thought it would occur

The others are confused at this new power (Power #5 for Yumoto in s2) meanwhile, the twins are horrified/even MORE angry at him. Aki tells Haru to not falter and Haru tries to shoot Yumoto in the chest to stop/fatally injure him at this point

Atsushi mentions Yumoto has stronger emotions compared to the VEPPer (He shames them btw), we learn in the OVA, Yumoto's powers are loved based, we DO get hints of in ep9 when Yumoto performs his Love Sprinkle attack. En notes that the twins underestimated how strong Yumoto is

To me, this is just a VERY extreme panic attack but since his powers are with love, it is amplified due to his love for Gora. Kinshiro notes that both past and current Yumoto are merging. I HC that Yumoto was always destined to become Scarlet, so this moment has taken him back to the time when he was a child and this has somehow made itself known in the universe. This could be a result from the alien technology (or could just be nothing and Im looking too deep into a single line)

Everyone isn't sure WHAT is going on, Ryuu tells him to get a grip after he learns Yumoto is "Losing himself to fear" and tries to touch him. As we see when Haru tried to hit Yumoto, this power is actively protecting Yumoto while doing damage to anyone who tries to hurt him. I actually find this to be SUPER interesting

It's more interesting when he calms down after the twins realize how strong he is, I believe this is his true anger over the entire situation. By this point Yumoto is sick of it, he has been fighting these two for so long over his own brother. He has almost been killed and now He's ready to do the same to them. When the boys all come running to stop Yumoto, they all have different expressions (Can't see Io's :(( ) The twins though, are horrified as they know if they get hit, THEY ARE DONE FOR! (It's finEEEE)

En's first thought is to grab Yumoto to try to calm him down somewhat by grounding him back to reality

Atsushi (just like a mom as Yumoto says about him) gently grabs Yumoto's face and tries to get him to look at him, while also shielding him from either himself or another attack from the twins. You can actually see him and Io pulling Yumoto closer to them

Ryuu and Wombat don't add much, BUT Ryuu does actually support Yumoto's head when they all fall onto the ground. Which Yumoto's head SHOULD be in Ryuu's lap (In theory).

As for the dark place? Yumoto probably experienced a severe form of tunnel vision along with the influence of his powers. IMO, He was so overwhelmed with the thought of losing his only family forever that he forgot about his found family as well.

adding to how Yumoto is being held, Ryuu seems to have Yumoto's forearms pinned, Io has his arms around Yumoto's chest, and En and Atsushi I CAN'T really see where they're grabbing at but it but it does show you even with their strength it takes all four of them to subdue Yumoto

And uhhh I think that's it really for this scene...for now... Once Yumoto remembers how he's loved by his friends and he's not alone, he transforms into his highest form to date :)))) also these frames of him are pretty lol this scene had a lot of gorgeous frames OKAY BYE!

I have a theory

I believe Yumoto is now able to heal monsters on his own.

HOW?

It actually hints at in s2ep9 with Yumoto's Love Sprinkle Attack

For his Love Sprinkle attack, IMO COULD Be as strong as the original Love Shower attack, but with how the VEPPer's monsters are shown to be stronger compared to the Caerula Adamas' Loveless monsters (I say this bc s2ep1, the bracelets are shattered basically instantly with the FIRST hit).

Love Sprinkle CANNOT fully heal, it just calms the monsters down and relaxes them, it is the opposite of True Love Attack, which STUNS the monster. THIS is IMO Yumoto's peaceful manner seeping into his OWN ATTACK, the ATTACK That Wombat had NO IDEA ABOUT.

Now, let's get into s2ep12, when Yumoto is Ultra More Better Battle Lover Scarlet, he not only unlocks the other's forms as well (since I believe their powers are fueled by Yumoto's in a way), he also, STARTS the healing process WITHOUT the True Love Staff. WE DO NOT SEE True Love Attack/True Love Fountain AGAIN after s2ep10.

You can see Yumoto's own light (which I KNOW, his powers are usually PINK, but it seems when Yumoto heals, his powers go into a pure white healing light), form WAY BEFORE the others join in. This TO ME, shows that he is 100% capable of healing people and monsters by himself, but it may just take an extra bit more exertion from him if he was alone. The others putting their own Love Sticks up to join him and all calling out together, IMO helps boost Yumoto's own so he will not exhaust himself.

THEN in the OVA, Yumoto is shown to throw his hand up at the end to heal the monster, and he is shown in his pink light once more (which I am starting to question too, maybe Yumoto's white healing light is ONLY reserved for when he is More Better, as we see this white light in s1's finale as the BG behind the group).

Yumoto has NO trouble here, which again, I believe the others are there to just help keep Yumoto from over-exhausting himself, they are his crutch so he doesn't probably just pass out from exhaustion after healing alone

Honorable mention for s2ep7 with the reindeer monster, who AGAIN watch, he FLASHES WHITE, which is the SAME COLOR as Yumoto's healing powers in the s2 finale. I think Yumoto may have subconsciously healed him since he KNEW the student personally and he was in his class (Even if he didn't realize that OH that guy is in my class, something in him probably knew, But Yumoto is also the type who would NEVER let someone stay a monster), aND DONT YOU SAY "OH SANTA DID IT" BC no I reFUSE TO BELIEVE IT!!!

Until the movie PROVES ME WRONG, I do believe that Yumoto can fully heal monsters by himself and he just has NO idea of his secret ability just yet because he usually has his friends with him.

I think too, his finishing move can be maybe STARTED alone but he can't finish it alone bc SURE he starts a lot of these in the examples I posted, but i think the others are needed to finish it

A thing i've realized over rewatching s1/s2 of Boueibu. Have you ever noticed that Yumoto can just hold the Love Staff with ease?

He can hold it one handed like it's NOTHING

Meanwhile EnAtsu and IoRyuu have to hold it together EVEN when just standing there

AND YES I DO HAVE A THEORY, I BELIEVE Yumoto can handle the weight of love compared to the others, he doesn't need assistance carrying it because he not only feels love for the monster but he feels the love that he has for his friends and their love for him (<3 awwww)

BUT why is it the case for the opposite? I think too, in a way, the staff is FOR YUMOTO and really ONLY for him. So, it would deem itself heavier for others, but it clearly can be used by the other Heirs/Battle Lovers.

In a way, it's almost like how in the Legend of Zelda, ONLY a descendent of the Hero of the Skies can wield the Master Sword WITHOUT issue (Unless you are the Hero of the Winds and you have to prove yourself worthy).

The other heirs are worthy of wielding the Love Staff/True Love Staff, but they have not truly proved themselves completely to what Wombat would probably call "The cause of Love".

IN FACT, I want to see a villain trying to lift the staff, as we've never SEEN it wielded by anyone other than the Battle Lovers. I do wonder if Wombat could have some type of "protection" on their weapons/the staff so this doesn't happen.
