Excuse the “screenshots”.. This was a quick model for a bin store I'm making for home. I know which wood want to use but I wanted to get a feel for the layout and rough image to work with.

FOX-PROOF BIN-STORE: (BARNES, LONDON)

Sangwyn Landscapes can design and construct bespoke timber structures for a multitude of purposes ranging from summerhouses to workshops and sheds.

In this case the brief was to create a structure that would prevent foxes being able to access to the bins and to shield them from view.

We created a bin-store cupbaord that could be opened from the front to allow removal of the bins for emptying, with two hinged lids to allow rubbish to be dropped into the bins from above. When the doors and lids are closed, there is no access for scavengers and the inside will stay dry, reducing the likelihood of mess or odour.

The store was then clad with cedar battens, creating an aesthetically-pleasing and practical solution.
