Acirema Bio Guide
Here's a guide to help you come up with the best possible bio to fit your character into our game if they don't have one already.
Length: Bios are only required to be one paragraph. However, that isn't a cap. They can be as long as you see fit to get as much information about your character in as you see fit.
Some important things you should take into consideration when writing your bio:
The past 10 years The plague/Chaos/New government take over lasted for ten years. It's important to include what happened to your character during the time of the plague and chaos. Did any of their family die? How did they survive the chaos and with who? Why did they come to Acirema? (Be sure to read the plot info so this is accurate)
Where they are now Class is the most important thing in Acirema. What class is your character in? How did they end up there? Do they have siblings and where in the city are they? If they're middle or upper class what is their occupation? Do they do it because they have to or because they like it?
Personality Obviously it takes all types to make the world go round. What makes your character tick? How do they act under pressure and what do they think of the government. If they're a slave, how do they handle it? If they're upper or middle class how do they view themselves in comparison so others in the city? Is what they show the rest of the world different than what they believe?
Remember this is YOUR character. There is no right and wrong as long as your bio is accurate to the plot. Do your best to provide some sort of conflict for them right away. A flawed personality trait, a trauma from their past, or anything that will give your character some motivation right away will keep the game interesting for you.
